Brad Mapes- President

With a lifetime of experiences in the NWT, Brad truly encompasses the Northern spirit.  A visionary and business leader, Brad grew up within the company as it expanded under his father John’s desire to provide a better supply of products throughout the North.  Taking on the lead role as a full-time salesman in 1985, Brad built relationships with communities across the NWT and Nunavut.  Taking over the business from John in 1992, Brad has continued to move the company forward with great tenacity and commitment.  The down to earth approach and sense of humor that established many of his friendships in the North still rings true in his own life and throughout his company.

Otto Mckay- Residential and Commercial Flooring Sales

Born and raised on “The Rock”, Otto joined the Wesclean team in 2001.  With 23 years in the flooring industry, he brings valued knowledge and experience to every aspect of our flooring division.  His commitment to the North brought his wife Lisa and their two children to Hay River, where he has helped establish Wesclean as a leader in a wide range of residential, industrial and institutional flooring products and installation.

Colette Mapes

After marrying into the company, her commitment to Wesclean goes far beyond her title.  With a background in administration, Colette’s experience with Federal departments prepared her for the challenges of running a family business.  Joining the team full-time in 1997, she has been at the heart of the ever expanding vision that is Wesclean.  A long-time resident of Hay River, Colette is a fantastic wife to Brad and mother to their three children.

Kevin Wallington

Moving to Hay River in 1994, Kevin has a wide range of Northern experience.  Graduating locally and returning following his communication studies, Kevin has history with the company.  From mixing chemicals on Saturday mornings for Brad as a high school student, to summer and full time work following graduation, he has been exposed to every aspect of the company.  After working in the non-profit sector for five years, Kevin returned to Wesclean in January of 2007.  His role in the company as a Territorial manager has enabled him to learn a great deal about the North, the communities that Wesclean serves and the opportunities that are available in the NWT.

Terry Allen

Raised as the daughter of an Airforce pilot, Terry was exposed to some of the most beautiful places in the country.  Terry joined Wesclean in April of 1993 to take the lead in the financing department.  With a background in accounts and financing, she is an integral part of keeping Wesclean running smoothly.  Her knowledge of products and the relationships with suppliers ensures that our customers receive their orders seamlessly.

Scott Giovannetti- Order Desk

Arriving in March of 2008, Scott joins us from Port Morin, Nova Scotia.  With two brothers working in the transportation division, Scott is a great addition to the team.  His experience as a customer service representative on the East Coast has transitioned seamlessly as he assists in the front end, as well as in shipping and receiving.  He appreciates the friendly people of the North, as well as the family atmosphere that exists at Wesclean.
